The IPL is looking for participants for a heart rate and blood pressure research study.

We are looking for healthy individuals with or without intellectual disabilities between 18 to 45 years old, with a sedentary or low-active lifestyle. We are interested in investigating the cardiovascular response to different exercise tasks, by means of measuring heart rate, blood pressure and breathing. We will also measure your height, weight, and waist circumference and perform a cardiac ultrasound (heart scan). Participants will receive gift cards as compensation upon finishing the study. This study is being conducted by Dr. Bo Fernhall in the Deptartment of Kinesiology and Nutrition.
